Falon Land Studio is working in partnership with the Kaboom Foundation and the Rebuild Texas Fund to design a new resilient playground for Atkinson Elementary School in Pasadena, Texas. The project is spearheaded by the school’s dedicated teachers, administration, and parents. This is the first time that Kaboom has worked directly with a landscape architect to design a playground that’s also ecologically resilient. We will work to design strategies for interaction with nature and outdoor environmental education specific to the East Texas landscape and ecosystems.
