The Play Everywhere Challenge is a grant program of Kaboom and Target with the goal of implementing creative play opportunities for kids in an urban environment. Falon Land Studio is implementing two funded projects in Houston: Esquina de la Musica and Playshapes. Produced in partnership with Open Architecture Houston and the Greater Northside Management District, Esquina de la Musica is a permanent installation of playable musical sculptures set into a public plaza in the Near Northside. In collaboration with the East End Foundation, Playshapes is a pop-up sculptural environment of movable shapes on the East End Esplanade. Together, we are creating a more inspiring and fun city for kids of all ages.
